Relating to economic diversification; providing for an economic diversification council to oversee and promote economic diversification activities in the state; providing for the development of a comprehensive economic diversification policy and strategy; providing for business development and innovation zones; specifying duties of the council and executive department in regard to implementation of the policy and strategy; providing for a coordinator of economic diversification; providing legislative findings and specifying intent; creating an account; providing an appropriation; specifying use of funds; and providing for an effective date.
